John Giordano passed away peacefully on May 4, 2019 at the age of 97. He was a loving husband to Josephine (deceased 2009) and father to RoseMarie and Diane (Ed) Longo. He also leaves behind 2 grandsons, Eddie (Mattie) Longo and Tom Longo, whom he absolutely adored.
John had a successful gardening business until his retirement. He then worked at Cortlandt Lanes for about 20 years. John loved to bowl when he was younger and his name was in the former Reporter Dispatch many times because of his high scoring games.
Family was very important to John. He loved poker games with his in-laws, always being accused of cheating by his teasing brother-in-law. He was always at his happiest to be surrounded by family, including in-laws, nieces and nephews. And he taught us all how to drive when the time came.
Dad will be truly missed and we will be sharing stories about him for many years to come.

I’m so terribly sorry for your loss. I can only how you must feel. I have personally found comfort in scriptures like Job 14:14,15 which remind me that God cares so deeply for us that he yearns for the day when he will bring us back to life (John 5:28, 29). I hope that these words bring you comfort as well.
